What a week!

Looking back, it's really all a blur because of all the little projects I've taken on this week😅🤣 That being said, I really had to go digging through the group to find the gold to bring to you today☺️ Here's what happened⤵️

We shared a sourdough skillet pizza recipe that’s insanely easy! It's the kind you throw together when you want comfort without the fuss🍕

We also circled back to an important reminder about temperature and fermentation, especially with the cold hanging around here lately😅🥶

Here’s a teaching moment... cold slows everything down. Yeast work on a temperature clock, and when it’s chilly, that clock moves pretty slow. Longer ferments and a little extra patience go a long way! Time and temperature always matter more than the recipe "rules" ever will! I've said it multiple times and I'll say it again, sourdough doesn't need blind obedience, it needs understanding!

Behind the scenes, a recipe website is officially in the works. It’s one of those projects that’s taking shape piece by piece... very slowly... just like our cold dough👌🏻🤪 But it’s happening! And I can’t wait to share it when it’s ready!

One of the sweetest parts of the week was sharing baking memories together💭 Stories about baking for people we love and how that alone can spark the urge to keep going. Memories of family cheering us on when we were brand new, even when those early loaves were… let’s just say very humble 🤭 And those tender flashbacks of baking with grandma that somehow live in our hands forever 🥹

This table really is a gift! It’s filled with people who truly love the craft of sourdough! Always ready to learn and refine their skills! We're growing crumb by crumb, and it's such a pleasure to be apart of this community!
